About Our Culturally Responsive Programs

The initiative combines Western Australian Science Curriculum with Aboriginal knowledge, connecting schools to build partnerships with local communities for integrated learning programs.

Main Job Objectives
  • Support schools in developing positive relationships with parents/carers and local Aboriginal communities through culturally responsive teaching and learning programs.
  • Plan activities with Ranger Groups, community groups, and school curriculum teams to create effective Two-way Science programs.
  • Identify challenges, provide expert guidance, and oversee risk management to ensure safe and efficient program delivery.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
  • Cultural organisational knowledge and ability to build working relationships with Aboriginal school communities and stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Kimberley Aboriginal communities and collaboration skills with education teams.
