Job Title: Trainer and Assessor AESED

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our team at Max Solutions. As a Trainer and Assessor, you will play a key role in delivering language, literacy, and numeracy skills training to our students, and assessing their progress.

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality training to students, using effective learning techniques and maintaining a student-centered approach.
  • Conduct pre-training assessments and implement training to meet contract requirements.
  • Identify barriers to learning and develop strategies to support student attendance.
  • Use different forms of communication to engage students and promote positive outcomes.
About You:
  • You have a strong background in adult education, with experience in delivering language, literacy, and numeracy skills training.
  • You are a driven, supportive, and community-minded individual, with a passion for helping people build future opportunities through learning.
  • You have excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment, and are able to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills.
  • You are able to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, and have a strong commitment to child safety and well-being.
Qualifications:
  • You hold a current Cert IV TAE or Diploma in Adult Education, plus a Bachelor's degree with TESOL or an undergraduate degree with a postgraduate qualification in TESOL.
  • You have knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework, and are able to apply this knowledge in your training and assessment practices.
