About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of people and property across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to fire and other emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner.
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities.
  • Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training courses.
  • Maintain the required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Contribute to upkeep and hygiene of station facilities.
  • Ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment and station facilities.
  • Contribute to incident reporting and general station administration as required.
