Job Title: Family Support Professional
">We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Individual and Family Services team as a Family Support Professional.
">This role involves working with clients who require comprehensive assessment and support. You will be working with individuals and families experiencing complex issues, including mental health, child wellbeing and safety, homelessness, family violence, and alcohol and drug issues.
">- Provide strength-based interventions that support and empower clients to gain agency of their own lives and that of their children.
- Undertake complex social work assessments and provide consultations to community members and organisations on matters relating to the best interests of the child.
The ideal candidate will possess:
">- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, and eligibility for membership of the AASW.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in the Community Services Sector in a case management and coordination role.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking complex social work assessments.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including experience in liaising & negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders.
The successful candidate will hold a National Police Clearance check and a working with Children check, and have the right to live and work in Australia.
