Family Support Professional

As a Child and Family Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence or requiring assistance with care and well-being. Your primary responsibility will be to offer information, advice, and risk assessments to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
This is an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with various stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services. You will report daily to a Team Leader from any partner organisation within The Orange Door network.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide safe and effective support to children, young people, and families
- Offer information, advice, and risk assessments
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Relevant professional experience in child and family welfare
- Understanding of the 'Best Interests' framework and other related frameworks
