Sealed Road Coordinator Role

This role plays a key part in keeping our city moving by overseeing the planning, programming and delivery of sealed road defect repairs within the region.

About The Position

As coordinator of bitumen and asphalt operations you will be responsible for allocating resources, budget monitoring and weekly reporting for sealed road programs.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate allocation of resources and monitor budgets for sealed road defect programs to ensure efficient execution.
  • Investigate sealed road defects to determine priority, considering response times and community safety.
  • Formulate remedial solutions for sealed road defects using initiative and judgement.
  • Lead a team to deliver successful and efficient road defect solutions.
  • Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders through ongoing communication regarding maintenance delivery and customer requests.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Certificate III and Certificate IV in Local Government (Operational Works)
  • Current Queensland C class driver's license
  • Extensive experience in sealed road maintenance operations with a deep understanding of local government procedures.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
