If you are a skilled Payroll Officer, we invite you to consider temporary roles available throughout Melbourne's central business district and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities include:
- Processing monthly payroll for permanent employees
- Managing weekly payroll for a large number of casual workers
- Integrating new hires into the payroll system and facilitating temp-to-perm transitions
- Calculating superannuation, taxation, leave entitlements, and workers' compensation payments
- Maintaining accurate records (such as leave requests and medical documentation)
- Conducting end-of-year payroll reconciliation
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in payroll processing
- Up-to-date knowledge of local payroll regulations and tax laws
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Possession of a Working with Children Check is essential
- Experience with Preceda software is highly valued
