About the Role

As a logistics professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless import and export operations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating local customs events, determining customs values for import shipments, and preparing and maintaining documentation.

Duties:

  • Coordinate local customs events
  • Determine customs value for import shipments
  • Prepare and maintain documentation with relative functions
  • Work with stakeholders over import declarations
  • Ensure compliance with trading regulations
  • Monitor trade compliance regulation changes
  • Provide trade compliance training to functional teams
  • Maintain and review import/export operation processes
  • Auditing of internal and external processes to improve business operations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with importing/exporting healthcare industry goods is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of trade compliance for healthcare industry goods is required
  • Proficiency with Oracle and/or SAP is highly advantageous
  • Track record of reviewing and improving operational processes would be very beneficial
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel when required
