Strategic Cost Manager Leader

This is a senior leadership position at Turner & Townsend, a global company with a strong presence in Australia. As an Associate Director/Senior Cost Manager, you will lead a team of professionals and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage cost management teams on high-profile projects to ensure successful delivery and exceed client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and business growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and project outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
  • Lead the development of fee proposals and business generation initiatives, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Oversee financial management, including commission and financial reporting, to ensure accurate tracking and optimization of resources.
  • Contribute to the company's carbon calculation services, supporting our commitment to sustainability.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Senior Cost Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pre-contract and post-contract deliverables, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Possession of MRICS or MAIQS qualifications is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working across multiple sectors, with a deep understanding of industry trends and challenges.
