Strategic Planning Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning Expert to drive business growth through effective strategy development. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by contributing to our long-term vision.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Solving complex problems: Leverage your knowledge, commercial acumen, and strategic expertise to solve complex problems and provide input into decision-making with the broader team to drive the development and articulation of a clear strategic direction for our organization.
  • Creating data-driven strategies: Utilize data and analytics to understand commercial problems, extract and communicate meaningful information, and help uncover the root cause of issues to develop data-driven strategies that drive business growth.
  • Developing and articulating clear strategic direction: Drive the thinking around our organization's long-term strategy, leveraging a breadth of knowledge to develop long-term plans, formulating new strategic frameworks as needed.
  • Analysing emerging trends and translating insights into actionable strategies: Leverage substantial expertise and experience in designing actionable business strategies to analyze new and emerging trends and evaluate their impact on our organization's long-term needs.
  • Engaging and influencing key stakeholders: Collaborate with and present to multiple stakeholders, including peer group and senior executives, seeking support, direction, and buy-in to generate solutions to complex problems and/or remove organizational barriers as required.
  • Effectively translating and communicating key information: Prepare decision-making materials for senior leaders and the Board (e.g., papers, workshops, and war games) to drive senior engagement and draw out insights to achieve our organization's strategic objectives.

About You

You will have:

  • Management consulting and/or strategy experience.
  • A strong ability to apply solid business acumen and be commercially astute.
  • Strong financial and P&L knowledge.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with an ability to build credibility with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build sustainable, scalable solutions and processes to meet complex strategic problems.
