We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our high-performing workshop team at our Hume facility, located 15KM from Canberra CBD.

Cummins specializes in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs, and maintenance across mining, on-highway trucks, industrial, and power generation applications.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a first-class service to our customers, completing service, repairs, and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and supporting engine rebuilds.

You will also diagnose and repair various engines, predominately across on-highway, industrial, and power generation, and ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards), previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction, or Agriculture, diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities, and a team player mindset.
