The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team in Canberra ACT. Reporting to our Canberra Branch, you will provide diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customer's equipment in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our customers.
  • Ensure work areas are kept tidy, with all relevant documentation complete and submitted on time.
  • Conduct work in compliance with quality and safety standards and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
  • Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.
  • OEM equipment experience highly regarded.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service etiquette.
  • Uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures.
