Our team is seeking a seasoned IT Sourcing Specialist to drive strategic sourcing activities, contract negotiation and management of IT Suppliers.

This role will be part of the Sourcing team responsible for various sourcing initiatives, including RFx. The successful candidate will ensure that sourcing and procurement guidelines, requirements and policies are followed.

  • Manage sourcing activities, review and negotiate IT contracts and act as a commercial escalation point as required.
  • Provide guidance, support and advice around IT supplier and procurement policies, guidelines and frameworks to IT and the wider business.
  • Develop relationships with key IT suppliers to drive mutual value whilst ensuring contract compliance.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with key IT suppliers, encouraging them to bring forward innovative ideas which can be collaboratively developed.
  • Manage the relationship, performance and contracts of key IT suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in IT sourcing processes and practices. Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, commercial or financial disciplines (or equivalent) are ideal but not essential.

The ability to negotiate and manage complex IT contracts, as well as running go-to market activities such as RFIs and RFPs, is crucial for success in this role.

Strong communication and analytical skills, along with the ability to foster effective strategic relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally, are essential.
