Procurement Specialist

We seek an experienced procurement professional to coordinate and execute strategic sourcing initiatives that drive business outcomes.

  • Develop and implement effective procurement plans, processes, and policies to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate optimal pricing and terms.
  • Manage the movement, storage, and distribution of materials from suppliers to internal teams and customers, ensuring compliance with quality and Defence standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and supply chain optimisation.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to junior team members on procurement best practices and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective planning and execution of procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, and contracting.
  • Management of supplier relationships to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Compliance with Defence and organisational standards.
