Job Overview

The Strategic Procurement Expert plays a vital role in supporting the procurement function by providing analytical and event support to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Procurement Events: Assist with planning, coordination, and follow-up activities for procurement events in collaboration with Procurement Managers to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Commercial & Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis on procurement events to provide data-driven insights that support negotiation, sourcing, and decision-making processes to inform business strategy.
  • Procurement Reporting: Develop and maintain procurement-related reporting, including spend profiles, supplier data, and category insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows within the procurement team and contribute to their execution to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analytical Support: Provide general support to the procurement team through modelling, report building, and ad-hoc data analysis to drive business outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, understand project scopes, and ensure alignment throughout procurement activities to foster collaborative relationships.
