Senior Manager of Real Estate Transaction and Investment

A leading role in the real estate investment industry, responsible for overseeing direct transactions and asset management in Australia. The successful candidate will lead on the full transaction lifecycle, including sourcing acquisitions, underwriting and evaluating the acquisition, negotiating the agreement, coordinating the due diligence process, and responsibility for closing.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the real estate sector, preferably from institutional asset management, investment banking, private equity, or real estate development. Demonstrable track record of sourcing and closing Australian real estate transactions across commercial (logistics, office, industrial, retail) and/or residential assets is essential.

  • Team management responsibility for direct real estate transactions and asset management in Australia
  • Leading on the full transaction life-cycle that includes, sourcing acquisitions, underwriting and evaluating the acquisition, negotiating the agreement, coordinating the due diligence process and responsibility for closing
  • Executing all capital market activity as it relates to financing of the assets in accordance with terms required by portfolio managers
  • Executing on property dispositions, in line with guidance from the portfolio manager of each investment account
  • Driving the strategy and execution of Australian investment opportunities from a market perspective, supporting team members in conducting financial underwriting and commercial appraisal, structuring the investments, transaction negotiations and presenting to internal clients, funds and investment committees
  • Oversee the investment during the asset holding period by sitting as a director of the investment vehicles
