Responsibilities include carrying out primary and secondary commissioning activities for transmission/distribution substations and renewable energy projects, testing and validating electrical systems to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards, diagnosing and resolving technical issues during the commissioning process, working closely with project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and efficiently, preparing and maintaining detailed commissioning documentation, test reports and ITPs, understanding the critical technical aspects of projects, implementation, and integration for complex systems, liaising with clients and contractors regarding project objectives and targets on technical issues and problem resolution.">">

Qualifications and Requirements

  • ">
  • A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.">
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in commissioning electrical systems, particularly in substations and renewable energy projects.">
  • Proficient in using testing and diagnostic equipment.">
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.">
  • Willingness to travel and work at various project sites throughout Australia.">
  • Site experience in projects being constructed and commissioned.">
  • Ability to work well with others to deliver as a team.">
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.">
