We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Mynrma. As a purpose-led organization, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of our employees and members.

The successful candidate will provide first-line support to our people and leaders, bringing their expertise in industrial relations and employment legislation to the table. This role requires human-centred thinking and the ability to navigate complex employment relations issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely advice and guidance to employees and leaders on employment-related matters, including policy and entitlements.
  • Manage workplace grievances and conduct investigations as required, ensuring a fair and consistent process.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to empower leaders in performance improvement and employee feedback.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and senior management to develop and implement HR policies and initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Support on EA negotiations and due diligence activities.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in IR/HR or law-related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, managing employment matters including disciplinary action, restructures, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated deep understanding and working knowledge of the Modern Award system, National Employment Standards, and other related legislation.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer-centric advice and influence outcomes through effective communication and stakeholder management.
