Job Title:

A structural engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity and safety of dams and water infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and associated structures.
  • Conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams.
  • Inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams.
  • Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting.
  • Preparation of tenders and proposals and providing guidance.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
  • Positive attitude and ability to see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and grow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoy developing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and the local industry.
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
