Compassionate Disability Care Provider Wanted

Right at Home is dedicated to providing in-home disability support services, enabling individuals to live independently. We are seeking a skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team on the Gold Coast.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, assistance with meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean-living environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Active Sleepover: Provide overnight support for clients requiring assistance during the night.
- PEG Feeding: Support and assist clients with PEG feeding.
- Manual Handling: Aid clients with mobility challenges through proper manual handling techniques.
- Community Engagement: Support clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Domestic Duties: Assist with light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe and clean-living environment.
- Behavioural Management: Handle clients with challenging behaviours, employing strategies to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Documentation: Record relevant information on support provided in client notes.
This is an opportunity for empathetic Disability Support Workers to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Various shifts are available in our Northern Rivers region, with an average of 8-15 hours per week.
