Building Compliance Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified professional to join our legal, compliance and enforcement team on a permanent full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake thorough investigations into building compliance matters and assess Complying Developments and Part 6 Certificate Applications.
  • Provide Principal Certifying Services to customers involved in building construction, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Building Surveying or one of the recognised qualifications for a building surveyor by Fair Trading NSW.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant building and planning legislation, with the ability to interpret complex regulations.
  • Experience in managing investigations and taking enforcement action, with a proven track record of resolving complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service, with a focus on building strong relationships.
  • The ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively as part of a team environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
