About the Role

Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to provide comprehensive HR support to our team. This role involves advising on recruitment, compliance, policy implementation, performance and conduct, payroll, and employee data.

Key Responsibilities
  • General HR support, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance
  • Performance and conduct management, including disciplinary processes and probation
  • Payroll integrity, HR systems, and employee data management
  • Leading and participating in HR projects aligned with MMCNQ's strategic plans
  • Liaising with external agencies, vendors, and partners
Requirements
  • Degree qualified with specialties in HR (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of HR generalist experience in a medium-sized organisation
  • Experience in educational or children's services is a plus
  • Proficiency in HR and payroll systems (Aurion), Microsoft Office, and Google Workspaces
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card), Criminal History Check, and valid driver's licence (Mandatory)
