About Our Team
We are seeking a highly skilled Textile Development Lead to drive innovation and quality in our uniform solutions.

This role ensures all fabrics and trims meet rigorous standards for quality, sustainability, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset and experience in textile or raw materials development, with a focus on material performance, supplier management, and global sourcing.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the research, development, and lifecycle management of fabrics and proprietary trims
  • Maintaining and managing a comprehensive fabric/materials library
  • Ensuring all raw materials meet industry standards and legal obligations
  • Leading material sourcing strategy to reduce duplication and improve cost efficiency
  • Verifying and documenting fabric developments through lab testing and performance analysis
  • Ensuring product compliance with relevant standards through collaboration with internal teams and suppliers
  • Delivering cost-optimised development outcomes and clear costing strategies
  • Ensuring fabric and trim suppliers meet ethical sourcing and sustainability standards

Your Requirements

  • Degree or Certificate in Textile Design, Development, or Manufacturing
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in textile or raw materials development with quality and compliance responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of fabric testing, fabric performance standards, and global material sourcing
  • Experience with EIA:632 or ISO 9001 standards (desirable)
  • Familiarity with PLM systems (desirable)
