Compliance Enforcement Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Enforcement Specialist to join our team at Ivory Group in Sydney.
This is a 6-month contract with a competitive hourly rate and superannuation benefits.
The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting the community's health and safety by ensuring compliance with building and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations on compliance issues regarding breaches of relevant local government, planning, and environmental legislation.
- Carry out appropriate enforcement actions by way of education, fines, notices, orders, and directions.
- Respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- Qualification in Planning, Building Surveying, or equivalent professional discipline.
- Accreditation with NSW Fair Trading at a registration level of Building Inspector (A4).
- Driver Licence.
- Working knowledge of BCA and EPA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
