About the Role

Family Planning NSW is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill this Clinical Administration Officer position.

This role requires someone who is:

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clerical, administrative and reception support to our clinics
  • Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary health team
  • Developing and maintaining high level computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and data entry
  • Building and maintaining strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Delivering exceptional customer service

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential criteria:

  • Relevant certificate level qualifications in business administration or similar
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in an administration or reception role
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Desirable Criteria

While not essential, it would be desirable if you had:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, including use of electronic medical record systems and client billing
  • Previous experience in basic financial systems
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse clients and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
