We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Specialist. This role involves working closely with clients over 65 who require rehabilitation services to achieve their goals while living at home.
- Direct client care and administration experience is essential for this position, as you will be required to work hands-on with clients and support them in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
- Delivering rehabilitation programs and motivating clients is also a crucial aspect of the job, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate strong teamwork and flexibility, as they will be required to share workload with other healthcare professionals and adapt to changing situations.
- A certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance is highly desirable for this role, but demonstrated experience working as a healthcare assistant or similar role can be considered.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills are also necessary, as you will be required to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines.
- Additionally, the ability to follow direction and openness to feedback is critical, as you will be working within a team environment and receiving guidance from senior staff members.
- Eligibility requirements include being an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
