Job Title: Property Services Manager - Strategic Asset Governance

About the Role:

This position plays a key part in re-drafting agreements and issuing them to NGOs who manage disability accommodation.

The Property Services area is a small, specialized team providing services to the departments state-wide workforce and asset footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support property services asset management strategies and government frameworks in line with strategic outcomes defined by the department and government.
  • Provide high-level strategic advice and analysis to senior management on strategic asset management issues focusing on compliance, internal controls, and risk management.
  • Manage all aspects of the department's SDA property portfolio, including standard agreement reviews and relevant quality measures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust systems, policies, procurements, and training for effective property governance and oversight.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including the National Disability Insurance Agency, Non-Government service providers, and other business units within the department.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing facilities and property services, contract management, and strategic asset management processes within complex organizational environments.
  • Disability accommodation experience highly desirable.
  • Negotiation skills with non-government organizations for contractual arrangements.
  • High-level communication, interpersonal, liaison, and consultation skills.
