About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Services Project Lead to join our team at Challenger Limited. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage technology projects with a focus on OKTA, Document Storage System (DSS) and Azure cloud services using .NET.
As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects involving Azure, Okta, and Osko platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, quality assurance, vendors, and delivery partners, to align project goals and deliverables ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects involving Azure, Okta, and Osko platforms.
- End-to-End Management: Manage technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring that planning, execution, and delivery processes are effectively managed.
- Prioritisation: Collaborate with the wider project team and business experts to prioritise and track tasks, ensuring the right activity is taking place at the right time.
- Risk and Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues early, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership and support to the project team, assisting with problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making.
- Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with vendors and delivery partners to ensure seamless integration and adherence to project requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects adhere to software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating project updates, progress, challenges, and risks.
- Status Reporting: Conduct regular project status meetings, delivering detailed reports and updates to project sponsors and stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged throughout the project.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong background in cloud services, software development, or IT infrastructure, with experience managing technology projects. Proven expertise in navigating complex environments, balancing multiple priorities, and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.
You will also need excellent technical expertise, leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, risk management skills, adaptability, and proficiency in using project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
