This APS Level 5 position offers an attractive remuneration package, including an estimated salary range of $80,748.00 - $87,572.00 per annum, plus superannuation benefits and flexible working conditions.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of strategic policy, undertaking research and analysis to identify trends and emerging issues, and contributing to policy documents, briefs, and submissions for senior executives and ministers.

You will also engage with internal and external stakeholders, build strong relationships, and stay informed on government policies, priorities, and processes to contribute effectively to strategic policy outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to gather and interpret information on a diverse range of issues.
  • Experience in drafting policy documents, briefs, and reports, demonstrating clear and concise written communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
