Job Title: Senior Mental Health Clinician

The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality clinical assessments, treatments, and support to clients of the St. Vincent's integrated adult Mental Health Service and their carers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff, working within the Strengths Model of recovery-oriented practice.
  • Engage consumers and their families/carers in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of care, building a therapeutic alliance.
  • Conduct assessments, provide treatment, and deliver targeted interventions to consumers with first-episode psychosis and their families/carers.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA (if applicable).
  • A minimum of 5 years post-qualification clinical experience for Nursing, and 7 years post-qualification clinical experience for Allied Health within Mental Health Services.
  • Extensive experience in providing assessment, discipline-specific intervention, and case management services for consumers experiencing early psychosis.
  • Experience in providing clinical supervision to other mental health staff.
  • A comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Act 2022.
