Chief Environmental Sustainability Officer

The Hydrocarbon Accounting and Sustainability Lead plays a pivotal role in driving environmental sustainability and reducing emissions within the Integrated Gas business unit.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop, implement and manage environmental sustainability strategies to minimize the company's ecological footprint.
- Lead efforts to measure, monitor and report on the company's environmental performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate decarbonization strategy across APLNG and Origin, including setting targets, aligning initiatives and presenting to leadership and joint venture committees.
- Lead governance and reporting for decarbonization activities, consolidating progress updates, risks and milestones for internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the central point of contact for decarbonization and emissions across IG, ensuring alignment of workstreams, supporting business case development and enabling consistent reporting through established project delivery mechanisms.
You will play a critical role in achieving our sustainability goals and contributing to a more environmentally responsible organization.
