
Operational Training Specialist

This role involves overseeing operational training and standards to ensure effective and safe performance.
The successful candidate will set the framework for operational training, ensuring our ways of working are clearly documented, and oversees that these standards are applied consistently across the business.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the national training program for catering & retail operations.
- Core areas of focus include Training Design, Business Support, Quality Assurance, Systems Support, and Career Pathways Development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all training on the Training Platform (MLZ).
- Coordinate national training and facilitation calendar.
- Design new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Orders (WOs) for frontline operations staff.
- Determine training delivery methods and assessment record management tools.
- Collaborate with HSE, Food Safety, WFP and P&C teams on compliance and continuous improvement.
- Support and mentor the SAT team to build and develop best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training compliance.
- Influence partner Airline customers to streamline training requirements.
- Regularly review and optimise current training systems.
- Identify and build career pathways for frontline staff through internal development opportunities.
