Ensuring Quality Excellence

Job Overview

The position of Quality Assurance Technologist plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This involves implementing various testing methods to verify product conformity.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Product Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform routine QA tasks as outlined in the company's quality policies manual and associated procedures, including finished product testing, ATP swabs, allergen swabs, hygiene inspections, CCP verification checks, inputting QA data into SAP system, isolating non-conforming stock, liaison with other departments, shelf life testing, monitoring RM and intermediates, putting away retention samples, internal auditing, laboratory equipment maintenance, and daily calibration of equipment.
  • Liaison with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments on site to ensure continuous improvement of products and quality systems, and assist in individual problem resolutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Education: Diploma or degree level Food Science qualification or relevant laboratory and/or industry experience.
  • Experience: Appropriate experience in food laboratories, proficiency in Windows-based computer systems, and familiarity with SAP.
