The QBCC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Technical Services to oversee the delivery of expert technical advice, drive operational excellence, and uplift capability across the state.

This pivotal leadership role sits within the Regulatory Operations Division and plays a key part in ensuring consistent, high-quality technical services that align with industry standards and QBCC's strategic objectives.

The purpose of this position is to lead and manage the QBCC's Building inspectors within the Building and Technical Inspectorate, delivering building dispute services and supporting the function of the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.

The position supports the regulatory function of the QBCC, ensuring the maintenance of proper building standards to achieve a reasonable balance between the interests of consumers and contractors through the delivery of statewide inspection, dispute resolution, and technical advisory services to external and internal stakeholders.

The QBCC is relocating at the end of 2025 from West End to Ann Street, Brisbane CBD.
