Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify behaviour triggers, develop strategies to improve behaviour outcomes, and create tailored support plans for individuals and their families or carers.
- Maintain a dynamic caseload, providing ongoing monitoring, support, and adjustments as required.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, committed to eliminating restrictive practices.
- Act as an advocate and role model for best practice, promoting individualised care and empowerment.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience working within the NDIS framework and supporting individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviours.
- Qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners or professionals with extensive experience in the disability sector across all age groups.
- Strong report writing skills, ability to translate assessment findings into clear, actionable plans.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to balance a dynamic caseload.
