Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Trading Support Team Lead to provide leadership and supervision to our trading support analysts team. As a hands-on leader, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of our trading desks, ensuring position reconciliations, trade capture, and accurate position reconciliation with external brokers. You'll also provide profit and loss estimates for daily activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead the trading support analysts team with a collaborative approach.
  • Compile and reconcile trade, transaction, and position data.
  • Prepare and submit delivery instructions for proprietary trading.
  • Assist with maintaining position, P&L, and information exchange.
  • Maintain operational processes to ensure exchange compliance.
  • Use algorithmic trading tools under trader instruction.
  • Update and manage exchange trading systems, proprietary trading applications, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Act as liaison between desk traders and internal departments.
  • Take ownership of desk projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • 7+ years' experience in the financial markets arena.
  • Experience leading a team and maintaining a hands-on role.
  • Operational knowledge of Asian financial markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of handling trade flow through to settlement.
  • Thorough knowledge of equity and equity derivative products.
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg and Excel.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and broker contacts.
  • Ability to promote new ideas and solutions.
  • Confidence to escalate issues and drive changes.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Ability to prioritize based on materiality and risk considerations.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Analytical mindset when tackling issues.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a quick learning ability and resourcefulness in solving problems.
