We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Trade Support Associate to join our Market Operations team at Commonwealth Bank. As a Trade Support Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our traders and sales team in validating and processing trades across various financial market products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and process trades across Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX products, Credit Derivatives, and Equities.
  • Ensure timely allocation of trades, reconciliations, and generate reports to support business operations.
  • Work closely with the Front Office, Trade Support team, and other stakeholders to ensure successful administration of trades.
  • Maintain procedures, including testing and implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest market developments in products, processing, and confirmations standards.
  • Provide informative management reporting and adhere to the Code of Conduct.

Requirements

  • Background in economics or accounting with strong attention to detail skills.
  • Risk mindset and willingness to learn and apply this mindset to work.
  • Awareness of the Trade Support role or understanding of Financial Markets products.
  • Well-developed relationship-building skills to maintain and enhance Trader and Operations relationships.
  • Highly tuned risk mindset, with exposure to complex products in highly regulated environments.
