Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Jumbo Operator to join our team on a rotational roster. This role offers an excellent chance to develop your career and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on mechanised electric/Hydraulic Jumbo drills, following site-specific guidelines and survey instructions.

  • Drill drive drill patterns using mechanised electric/Hydraulic Jumbo drills, following site-specific guidelines and survey instructions.
  • Assec ground conditions at the face and implement ground control according to site requirements.
  • Read and accurately follow mining instruction plans with precision, ensuring holes are drilled to design specifications.
  • Communicate with surveyors, geologists, and engineers as required.
  • Optimise drill patterns to ensure maximum advance per round, while maintaining design specifications.
  • Ensure work areas are safe for personnel and equipment, including clearing electrical installations and services.
