Job Description:

The Tools Sales and Support Representative is responsible for promoting the sale, service, and aftermarket product support of drilling consumables within a nominated customer base with a view to retaining current business and expanding sales.

This role will focus on Surface Mining rock tools with integration of Surface Mining support. The customer base will primarily focus on surface mines and construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Account Managers to adequately service all customers within the nominated sales region.
  • Collaborate with Product Support Manager (PSM) on product quality, product selection, supply, and delivery issues.
  • Provide monthly business analysis and market activity report updates.
  • Review financial performance on a monthly basis.
  • Control expenses within allocated funds.
  • Offer drilling solutions and product technical support.
  • Spend time with operators to understand site operating practices and improve performance and life of Rock Drilling Tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive exposure in surface mining and previous sales experience within the industry. You will require high energy and enthusiasm for products and industry, as well as self-drive to achieve results.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You must be able to listen to customer requirements and offer experienced solutions while being commercially astute.
