
Infrastructure Business Growth Specialist

This key role will drive business growth through identifying and converting new opportunities across public and private sector clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the transport infrastructure, water and wastewater, renewables, and social infrastructure sectors.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a robust pipeline of projects worth over $50 million in Queensland.
- Develop strategic relationships with government clients, utility providers, and major contractors to position the company as a preferred partner.
- Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and delivery teams to shape bid strategies.
- Lead opportunity pursuit through expressions of interest, requests for tender, and direct negotiations.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regional priorities, and emerging opportunities in infrastructure and energy.
- Represent the company at key industry forums, tender briefings, and stakeholder meetings.
- Business Development Experience: Proven track record in business development, estimating, or project leadership roles within the civil infrastructure space.
- Sector Knowledge: Demonstrated success in winning work in Queensland across road, rail, water, energy, or defence markets.
- Client Relationships: Strong relationships with TMR, local councils, utilities, or private developers.
- Commercial Acumen: A commercially minded communicator with strong influencing skills and technical credibility.
