Metallurgical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Metallurgical Technician to join our team in the processing department. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing plant samples, conducting test work in the metallurgical lab, assisting with plant surveys and research projects, collating test work results and reporting to the Metallurgical Technician Team Lead.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of metallurgical processes and procedures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and contribute to the success of the team is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze plant samples to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct test work in the metallurgical lab to support process optimization and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Assist with plant surveys and research projects to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Collate and report test work results to the Metallurgical Technician Team Lead.
