About the Role

The Plant Metallurgist position entails providing technical support to the Processing team, ensuring on-specification production and meeting planned production targets.

  • Support operational teams with technical information and direction, including problem-solving and target setting;
  • Maintain metallurgical accounting and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements;
  • Identify and implement projects to improve plant performance; and
  • Conduct plant surveys and trials as required to optimize performance.

This is a permanent, full-time position working an attractive roster (8 days on, 6 days off), located in Greenbushes, offered as either DIDO or residential.

About the Candidate

We are seeking safety-focused, proactive, and positive individuals who are willing to learn to join the processing team in the role of Plant Metallurgist.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • a tertiary qualification in Extractive Metallurgy or equivalent;
  • minimum of 3 years experience;
  • a willingness to contribute towards the success of your team while supporting a positive team culture;

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives;
