Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager is a full-time role responsible for leading the maintenance team in Western Australia. The team ensures all preventative and reactive maintenance tasks are completed and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all preventative and reactive maintenance tasks are completed and up to date
  • Provide hands-on assistance where applicable, limiting the need to engage contractors
  • Oversee all WA sites, including current sites Singleton and Mandurah as well as future sites being built or acquired
Requirements:
  • Experience in building maintenance required
  • Experience managing a team
  • Trade Qualification e.g. A Grade Electrician OR qualified Plumber (including TMV work)
  • Aged care experience desirable
  • Current Queensland driver's licence
  • Thorough understanding of all legislative requirements pertaining to maintenance and repairs i.e. OH&S & Fire/Evacuation
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks including use of tools and equipment
  • Willingness to contribute to after-hours maintenance requirements from time to time
  • Excellent communication skills and respect for residents and colleagues
  • Previous experience working autonomously with limited direction
  • Be able to make decisions about costs and priorities and documenting a full plan for work to be completed
