Job Title: Maintenance Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the maintenance of our plant, mining and site facilities. This permanent full-time role will lead the mechanical and electrical maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.

The successful candidate will develop and implement maintenance plans, oversee preventative programs, manage contractors, and champion continuous improvement to optimise asset reliability and minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop maintenance team members, fostering skill growth and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align maintenance with business goals.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 5-10 years' experience in a similar maintenance leadership position, ideally in a 24/7 manufacturing or mining environment.
  • Degree in electrical, reliability engineering, or a relevant electrical trade qualification with industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of work management systems and experience using CMMS (e.g. SAP).
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
