Job Title: Technical Operations Leader

We are seeking a skilled Technical Operations Leader to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the solution's performance within the domain, ensuring that systems are scalable, efficient, and meet operational KPIs.

  • Promote a culture of engineering excellence within the chapter by adopting modern engineering practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), automation, and security by design.
  • Work with stakeholders to influence the prioritisation of features and ensure alignment with business objectives.
About the Role:

The Technical Operations Leader will be responsible for:

  • Oversight of software licensing and operational expenses (OPEX) focusing on enabling an effective support model, reducing costs, and optimising resource utilisation.
  • Ownership of technical capabilities by identifying skill gaps, establishing learning paths, and ensuring the right mix of technical expertise is available across squads.
  • Ensuring all technology team members adhere to the organisation's software engineering standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in operations and process automation.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in enterprise architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in financial services is advantageous.
