Investigations Professional

The role of Investigations Officer is crucial in ensuring the integrity and quality of investigations into health service complaints in Queensland.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough and timely investigations, adhering to organisational policies and procedures to complete investigations within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Apply best practice investigation planning methodologies to identify and source all available evidence in an appropriate manner and document it according to organisational policy.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality briefs-of-evidence and investigation reports with recommendations for the prosecution of health service providers.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather information that supports the investigation process and enhances service delivery.
