Senior Telecoms Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecoms Infrastructure Engineer to join our engineering design and delivery team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of telecommunications infrastructure packages.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills and experience in designing and delivering telecommunications systems, including radio sites, power systems, and associated infrastructure. They will also possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage the end-to-end delivery of telecommunications infrastructure packages
    • Prepare engineering design documents, specifications, drawings, and scopes of work on time and within budget
    • Understand site design and site acquisition processes and the relevance of Safety in Design
    • Lead and participate in the infrastructure design review process
    • Review design drawings and produce scope of work documents and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
    • Identify defects and coordinate rectifications as per agreed timelines

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10+ years' experience as a deployment/project engineer on large-scale projects
  • An engineering degree enabling full membership to Engineers Australia
  • Demonstrated experience with design, construct, and integration of Telecommunications systems
  • Proven subcontractor management experience
  • Well-developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Collaborative communication style with the ability to work effectively as a member of a team
