Telecommunications Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Specialist to join our team in Gladstone, QLD. As a key member of the technical team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure environments.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of telecommunications systems, including voice gateways, virtual private networks, firewalls & internet gateways. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their telecommunications needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. You will also provide technical support and training to ensure seamless integration with our systems.

To succeed in this challenging and rewarding role, you will require:

  • Minimum certifications: Microsoft certifications and Cisco Certified Network Associate.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect and interact with clients at all levels of proficiency.
  • At least a minimum of 1 year experience in telecommunication or related fields.
  • Industry-recognised qualifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve hardware faults on network peripherals, telecommunication systems, and related devices.
  • Ability to provide Level 2 support for networks, firewalls, routing, switching, and security.
  • Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment, sharing information and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Working at Heights (for installations involving poles, antennas, etc.)
  • Electrical Licenses (if required for equipment installation)
