Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of telecommunications infrastructure packages.
  • Develop engineering design documents, specifications, drawings, and scopes of work on time and within budget to meet project deadlines for assigned work packages.
  • Understand site design and site acquisition processes and the relevance of Safety in Design.
  • Lead and participate in the infrastructure design review process.
  • Review design drawings and produce scope of work documents and BOMs.
  • Identify defects and coordinate rectifications as per agreed timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 10+ years' experience as a deployment/project engineer on large scale rail projects.
  • An engineering degree enabling full membership to Engineers Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience with design, construct, and integration of Telecommunications systems including radio sites, power systems, and associated infrastructure.
  • Proven subcontractor management experience.
  • Well-developed organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Collaborative communication style with the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
