Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational management of our portfolio of A-Grade office buildings in Brisbane, QLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Work collaboratively with the site management team to monitor and manage operational expenditure.
  • Building Presentation: Ensure daily inspection of all public areas and weekly inspection of all vacant areas. Document a detailed monthly inspection of all building areas.
  • Risk Management: Ensure annual site hazard assessments are completed by an external party with high priority items addressed in a timely manner. Appropriate escalation of WHS&E incidents. Ensure that all operational activities comply with current legislation and confirm any potential risks are identified and recorded, with mitigation strategy provided to the client.
  • Sustainability: Work collaboratively with the management team, consultants, contractors, and tenants to ensure annual targets for each property are agreed and met.
  • Capital Management: In partnership with the General Manager, actively manage capital expenditure budget to ensure approved works are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Training & Development: Achieve agreed training and development targets per calendar year and assist the team with achieving Key Performance Indicators and Management Agreement Targets.
Requirements:
  • You have managed the operations of commercial assets and can draw upon your experience to maximise the building performance in terms of sustainability.
  • You love working in a team environment as well as autonomously and are positive and tenacious in your daily approach.
  • Customer service is your key priority, and you can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Having the ability to be proactive and able to identify potential risks through compliance with WH&S is essential.
  • You keep on top of things and can also oversee capex budgets, cut operational costs, and incur savings during the process.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
